ARIB STD-B21 specifies minimum basic functions, ratings and desired performance of "BS digital broadcasting, broadband CS digital broadcasting, Digital Terrestrial Television Broadcasting" for the specification of each digital broadcasting receiver. J.STB-CTS requires a terrestrial frontend as ISDB-T/Tb standard need to refer the existing specification of ARIB STD- B21
