交互式有线电视业务的第五代传输系统 – IP电缆调制解调器

ITU-T J.224建议规定了第五代高速电缆传输数据系统。第五代传输系统引入了建立在以往ITU-T建议书（即ITU-T J.112、ITU-T J.122、ITU-T J.222.x系列和ITU-T J.223.x系列）基础之上的许多新功能。ITU-T J.224建议书包括物理层（PHY）的关键新特征，并建立了全双工有线数据服务接口规范（DOCSIS）操作模式，包括对媒体访问控制（MAC）层协议的增强，以及对上层协议的要求，例如网际协议（IP）和动态主机配置协议（DHCP）。第五代电缆调制解调器的规格完全吸纳了第四代的规范。
