Защитная коммутация для сетей MPLS

В Рекомендации МСЭ-Т Y.1720 изложены описания требований и механизмов для реализации методов защитной коммутации 1+1, 1:1, совместно используемой ячеистой сети и пакетов 1+1 в плоскости пользователя в сетях с MPLS. Определенный здесь механизм предназначен для поддержки сквозных каналов коммутации по метке (LSP) при связи пункта с пунктом. Функциональные возможности защитной коммутации для LSP в случае связи многих пунктов с пунктом и пункта со многими пунктами подлежат дальнейшему изучению. Защитная коммутация m:n подлежит дальнейшему изучению. Бесконтактная защитная коммутация в настоящей версии Рекомендации не рассматривается.
