| Architecture des services d'annuaire pour le protocole XMPP |

Le protocole extensible de messagerie et de présence (XMPP, extensible messaging and presence protocol) a été normalisé par le groupe IETF afin d'échanger des informations entre extrémités de réseau utilisant le langage de balisage extensible (XML, extensible markup language). Il sert à mettre en œuvre des applications de présence et de messagerie instantanée dont la popularité va croissant. La présente Recommandation insère le protocole XMPP dans la suite de protocoles qui est prise en charge par la référence [UIT-T H.350], de façon qu'une organisation puisse rechercher par annuaire et gérer des ressources XMPP de la même façon que d'autres protocoles multimédias (p. ex. H.320, H.323, SIP) sont gérés dans la référence [UIT-T H.350]. |
