Dans les réseaux de télécommunication, il faut attribuer correctement les infrastructures de réseau et prévoir une maintenance périodique afin d'acheminer les services rapidement et efficacement, de réduire au minimum les risques d'interruption de service et de garantir la satisfaction des accords sur le niveau de service. Il est important de se pencher en particulier sur la question des infrastructures fondées sur des fibres optiques et du volume considérable des informations transmises sur ces infrastructures. La position, les dimensions, les services, les travaux à effectuer sur le terrain et les dates d'intervention programmées pour la maintenance périodique planifiée peuvent varier pour les infrastructures de réseau qui font l'objet d'opérations d'attribution et de maintenance.Il est possible d'appliquer la technologie des données d'identification (ID) aux solutions axées sur la bonne gestion des infrastructures de réseau. Les données d'identification permettent d'identifier sans ambiguïté un élément donné pour l'attribution et la maintenance.On trouvera dans cette deuxième édition de la Recommandation UIT-T L.360 une description des fonctionnalités d'un système d'appui à l'exploitation (OSS) destiné à établir la relation de connexion sur la base d'informations contenues dans une étiquette d'identification. Un nouvel appendice traitant des technologies évoluées utilisées pour la gestion des infrastructures de réseau a également été ajouté. |
