La Recommandation UIT-T Y.4481 porte sur une plate-forme intermédiaire appelée plate-forme intermédiaire de données (DM), qui devrait fournir des services de données numériques innovants pour produire de la valeur sous forme de données. Ce type de plate-forme permet de séparer les capacités d'appui technique fondamentales des services à caractère commercial. L'objet principal d'une plate-forme intermédiaire de données est de regrouper et de gérer des données interdomaines dans le cadre de différents services. Dans le domaine de l'Internet des objets (IoT) et des villes intelligentes et durables (SSC), une plate-forme intermédiaire de données vise à fournir des services de données communs pouvant être réutilisés dans divers domaines d'application par les gouvernements, les entreprises, les organisations et les particuliers. |
