Les paquetages décrits dans la Recommandation UIT-T H.248.3 définissent un cadre permettant de spécifier les capacités associées aux éléments des interfaces de l'utilisateur, tels que l'affichage de texte, les touches, les touches étiquetées dynamiquement, les indicateurs et les insertions alphanumériques. En outre sont définis des paquetages d'extension spécifiques pour les claviers des téléphones et les touches de fonction des téléphones.
Dans cette révision, des corrections sont apportées aux paramètres "State" et "Indicator description" du signal Set Indicator.
