La Recommandation UIT-T H.350.6 décrit un schéma LDAP et UIT-T X.500 simple permettant de représenter des informations de renvoi d'appel et de préférence d'appel dans un annuaire UIT-T H.350. Ce schéma a pour objet de permettre de représenter les adresses auxquelles il convient de renvoyer les appels en l'absence de réponse du point d'extrémité. Il permet d'acheminer des appels à destination d'adresses UIT-T H.320, UIT-T H.323 ou SIP simples, ou à destination de systèmes de renvoi complexes (par exemple préférences en fonction de l'heure de la journée, pages web, courrier électronique, etc.). Avant de mettre en œuvre cette Recommandation, les réalisateurs d'applications devraient éxaminer en détail la Recommandation UIT-T H.350.
Dans cette version révisée de la Recommandation UIT-T H.350.6, des corrections ont été apportées par rapport à la version précédente, principalement une mise à jour de la notation ASN.1 contenue dans le § 8 concernant les annuaires UIT-T X.500.
