Esta Recomendación pertenece a la familia de la Rec. UIT-T J.112. Tiene por finalidad proporcionar una tecnología que permite satisfacer la demanda de servicios simétricos en las redes de cable. Esta tecnología de la segunda generación, al utilizar el mismo canal RF, es retrocompatible con la de la Rec. UIT-T J.112. Proporciona un sensible aumento de la capacidad de canales en el sentido de retorno, así como canales más anchos, una velocidad de símbolos más alta y una mayor eficiencia espectral. Prevé la codificación para los sistemas CDMA síncrono y TDMA avanzado e incluye capacidades de modulación de orden superior. Ofrece una mayor inmunidad contra el ruido y una mayor protección multitrayecto que la tecnología que sirve de base a la Rec. UIT-T J.112. |
