La presente enmienda contiene el anexo B que define una norma para la información de servicio (SI) en cable compatible con trenes de bits de múltiplex digitales construidos de acuerdo con UIT-T H.222.0 | ISO/CEI 13818-1 (sistemas MPEG-2). Se ha diseñado para soportar "dispositivos de navegación" en cable. Define la sintaxis y la semántica para un conjunto normalizado de tablas que proporcionan los datos necesarios para que estos dispositivos descubran y accedan a servicios digitales y analógicos ofrecidos por cable.Este protocolo de información de servicio es entregado nominalmente por un canal físico separado (es decir, fuera de banda) fuera de los múltiplex de transporte reales que llevan el contenido de programa. |
