La tecnología de realidad aumentada es un tipo de realidad mixta en la que se integran gráficos 2D/3D en el mundo real para mejorar la experiencia del usuario y enriquecer la información. La televisión inteligente de realidad aumentada (AR-STV) es la radiodifusión de televisión que utiliza tecnología AR para mezclar contenido aumentado (objetos gráficos 2D/3D) con contenido de radiodifusión en tiempo real en terminales receptores. El contenido aumentado superpuesto en la región de aumentación está estático o puede desplazarse en una trayectoria similar a la que podría proporcionar una aplicación de ubicación basada en AR que muestra información de trayecto en la ubicación real a partir de una cámara de teléfono inteligente. La AR-STV permite a los telespectadores elegir ver la televisión con o sin contenidos de realidad aumentada. En la Recomendación UIT-T J.302 se precisan las tecnologías relacionadas que deberían implementarse para obtener un sistema de televisión inteligente de realidad aumentada. |
