La Recomendación UIT-T H.460.23 permite que un punto extremo que resida tras un dispositivo NAT/FW informe de las características NAT/FW al controlador de acceso. Cuando se utiliza con la Recomendación UIT-T H.460.24, un controlador de acceso puede emplear información de NAT/FW para decidir cómo permite el flujo directo de medios entre dos dispositivos. En la mayoría de los casos, si se siguen estos procedimientos, el controlador de acceso podrá evitar que se necesite un intermediario de medios, como se describe en la Recomendación UIT-T H.460.19, ya que los medios se pueden transmitir directamente entre dos puntos extremos que residan tras distintos dispositivos NAT/FW. |
