تحدد هذه التوصية أسباب تغيير الخدمة المستعملة في البروتوكول H.248.1. كما تعرض الشفرات المقابلة لهذه الأسباب، وتحدد وقت استعمال أسباب تغيير الخدمة، وتشير إلى النص الواجب إدخاله إلى توسيع تغيير الخدمة والذي يتيح تفسيراً أفضل لهذه الأسباب. وترد هذه التفاصيل في الفقرة 5.
وتتناول هذه المراجعة الجوانب التالية:
• إضافة خمس شفرات خطأ جديدة هي 413 و449 و460 و522 و542
• توضيح شفرتي الخطأ 430 و435
• حذف شفرة الخطأ التي تحددها الرزم 540
• إضافة ثلاثة أسباب تغيير خدمة جديدة هي 918، 919، 920
ملاحظة - أعيدت تسمية هذه التوصية، وكانت سابقاً الملحق L بالتوصية ITU-T H.248.
