تصف التوصية ITU-T P.1211 إجراء اشتقاق لقيم المساهمة التي توفر معلومات عن العلاقة بين العوامل المؤثرة على الجودة (مثل مستويات جودة الوسائط والتوقف) ودرجة الجودة النهائية لدورة الوسائط لخدمات البث السمعي المرئي التكيفي. وبتعبير أدق، تبين قيم المساهمات مدى تأثير (أي تقليل) كل عامل من العوامل المؤثرة على درجة الجودة النهائية لدورة الوسائط التي يوفرها نموذج تقدير الجودة (مثل نموذج التوصية ITU-T P.1203 أو التوصية ITU-T P.1204) باستخدام نظرية Shapley، وهي مفهوم رئيسي في نظرية اللعبة التعاونية لتوزيع الأرباح في لعبة ما بين المشاركين. ويمكن استخدام إجراء الاشتقاق هذا لمراقبة خدمة التدفق حيث يمكن للمشغلين التأكد من العوامل المؤثرة على الجودة التي تقلل درجة الجودة النهائية لدورة الوسائط. |
