ITU Exhibit at EXPO 2025, Japan

160 years connecting the world

As part of The Future of Community and Mobility Week at Expo 2025 Osaka, ITU marked its 160th anniversary with an exhibition in the UN Pavilion, made possible by the Government of Japan. The showcase explored how global connectivity has shaped our world, and how it will continue to empower and transform communities in the years ahead.

Held from May 13–18, 2025, and aligning with World Telecommunication and Information Society Day on May 17, the exhibit celebrated a legacy of innovation and demonstrated to visitors how we are all #ConnectedByITU.
