Wael Bazzi, American University in Dubai, UAE – ITU-T Academia
Wael Bazzi is an associate professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the American University in Dubai. He completed his PhD degree in optimum resource allocation for wireless ad hoc networks at the University of Waterloo, Canada. His research and consultancy experience is centered on modeling and optimization of interference limited wireless communication systems. In 2011, he instigated the application of AUD’s school of engineering to become the first academic member of the International Telecommunication Union in the UAE and has been serving as the ITU focal point with AUD since then.
