Summary of Questions' Results

Since the previous SG16 meeting in October 2022, no interim meetings were held for WP1/16 Questions 11/16, 21/16 and 22/16 and WP2/16 Questions 24/16 and 26/16.

Question 13/16 (WP1/16)

Question 13/16 experts met Online, 16-18 January 2023. The group reviewed 6 contributions on current work items including H.IPTV-OpMcast, F.IPTV-VRSReqs, F.CDN-P2P, H.IPTV-LSFA and H.IPTV-QUICReq. The group reviewed three incoming liaison statements. The group will meet again in a Rapporteur group meeting in April 2023, online, before the next SG16 meeting. No outgoing liaison statements were issued from this e-meeting. The Question did not start any new work items at this meeting.

Question 27/16 (WP1/16)

Question 27/16 met two times in the interim period. Question 27/16 experts met online, 2-3 February 2023. The group reviewed six contributions on current work items including F.VG-AD-Reqs (Vehicle information requirements of vehicle gateway platform to support automated driving), H.VM-VMIA (Vehicular Multimedia Implementation Aspects), and F.VGP-RDSreqs (Requirements for remote driving service based on vehicle gateway platform), and on a proposal for a series of workshop on vehicular multimedia implementation. The group reviewed one assigned document. The group provisionally agreed that F.VGP-RDSreqs should be ready for TAP Determination at the SG16 meeting in July 2023. There was also agreement to organize three workshops on vehicular multimedia implementation in 2023. Question 27/16 experts met for the 2nd time since the previous SG16 meeting in Geneva and online, 13-16 March 2023. The group reviewed two contributions on current work items including ITU-T F.749.6 (ex F.VG-AD-Reqs) "Requirements of vehicle information for automated driving in vehicle gateway platforms" and F.VGP-RDSreqs "Requirements for remote driving service based on vehicle gateway platform". The meeting also reviewed the report of 1st workshop on Vehicular multimedia implementation aspect (WS-VMIA). The discussion on WS-VMIA were added to H.VM-VMIA as new Editor's note. The group agreed with moving F.VG-AD-Reqs for Consent in the WP1/16 plenary (Geneva, 17 March 2023), as ITU‑T F.749.6. The second WS-VMIA was planned to take place during SG16 in Geneva, 10-21 July 2023. The current text of Question 27/16 was reviewed. The Question did not start any new work items at this meeting. The group will meet again in a Rapporteur group meeting in 17-18 May 2023, online, before SG16 (Geneva, 10-21 July 2023).

Question 23/16 (WP2/16)

Question 23/16 met online, 13-16 March 2023. It received five contributions proposing to progress the ongoing work items. During the meeting, five contributions were reviewed, and related ongoing work items were progressed. Q23/16 reviewed the ToR documents of SG16 and Q23/16, and no modification was proposed. Q23/16 planned to hold another Rapporteur Group Meeting in May 2023, before the next SG16 plenary planned in July 2023. No new work items are proposed, and no outgoing LSs were prepared. The WP2/16 co-chairman asked the Question to review all relevant incoming LSs at the next Q23/16 RGM. He also noted that several of the Q23/16 work items have 2023 as target approval, and requested that Q23/16 experts assess whether the date is still up-to-date and for the WIs that are not mature in July, to either update the target dates or to propose a WP2/16 meeting in the 2nd half of 2023 for the WIs that could become mature by then. Q23/16 was also encouraged to include in the agenda of the May RGM an item to start the review of the text of the Question in preparation for WTSA-24.

Question 28/16 (WP2/16)​

​Question 28/16 met twice since the previous SG16 meeting in October 2022. Q28/16 met on online 14-15 December 2022 to coordinate with other SDOs, Questions, or Study Groups and to progress work on various of its work items. The meeting reviewed six input documents. No new work items were proposed, no outgoing LSs were prepared. The Question agreed to meet again just before the WP2/16 plenary planned on 17 March 2023. Question 28/16 met for the 2nd time since the previous SG16 meeting online on 16 March 2023 under the chairmanship of Masahito Kawamori (Keio University, Japan). It reviewed ten documents and agreed to create one new work item and to submit two texts for Consent at the WP2/16 plenary on 17 March 2023. An initial review of the text of the Question was also done. The following Recommendations were proposed by Q28/16 for Consent by WP2/16: At this meeting, Q28/16 agreed to start work on the following new work item: 
No outgoing LSs were prepared. The experts agreed to plan an additional Q28/16 meeting within the WHO Safe Listening Consultation meeting that will take place in the week of 5-9 June 2023, hosted at the WHO headquarters. A workshop on safe listening may be organized within that event.
