Summary: As IoT devices serve as crucial access points to IoT systems, the security of IoT devices is paramount for the stability and safety of the entire IoT ecosystem. Due to the widespread access, diversity, resource constraints, and limitations of traditional security strategies, the security threats to IoT devices are becoming increasingly complex and severe. It is necessary to provide unified technical means to strengthen real-time monitoring of security threats to a large number of diverse IoT devices, grasp IoT devices security status, and help managers promptly identify and address security risks of IoT devices. Therefore, to ensure a standardized approach to enhancing the security and reliability of IoT devices, this contribution provides technical requirements for the real-time monitoring of IoT devices' security status. This Recommendation encompasses the development of an information and data model tailored to enable effective monitoring of security situations and provide timely warning of security risks. Additionally, models for sending or receiving security status information, including API, SDK, etc.
