Summary: Framework for Security Human Capability Development (SHCD) provides the guideline for the development of security practitioners and professionals by recognising their security skills and knowledge in the organization. This new work item proposal provides the organizational requirements for the development of security practitioners and professionals to ensure the competencies are relevant, recognized and retained. The following are the objectives of this contribution: to improve the preparedness and readiness of organization’s security KSA in managing information security controls in ITU-T X.1051; to enhance the competence of security practitioners and professionals are relevant, recognized and retained by the organization.
