Fonctions de commande de ressource et d'admission dans les réseaux de prochaine génération |

La présente Recommandation spécifie l'architecture fonctionnelle et les exigences relatives aux fonctions de commande de ressource et d'admission (RACF, resource and admission control functions) dans les réseaux de prochaine génération. Ces derniers peuvent mettre en jeu diverses techniques de transport d'accès et de transport infrastructurel, ainsi que de multiples domaines. Les fonctions RACF permettent de gérer une ressource de transport qui est pilotée par l'application en temps réel et fondée sur une politique. Elles prennent ainsi en charge la qualité de service de bout en bout (QS), la fonction de portillonnage (portier), la conversion d'adresse de couche Réseau et la traversée des convertisseurs distants d'adresse réseau. Les fonctions RACF ne sont pas propres à chaque service. Les services peuvent faire usage des données relatives à l'utilisation des fonctions RACF, que le sous-système multimédia IP soit ou non mis en jeu. |
