ITU-MIC Forum on Wireless Broadband Networks for
Asia-Pacific Region |

The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) jointly with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, Government of Japan
(MIC) are organising the "ITU-MIC Forum on Wireless Broadband Network for Asia-Pacific region" to be held on
23 -24 March 2010 in Tokyo, Japan. A study visit
to ICT companies has been scheduled on 25 March 2010. The Forum is hosted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, Japan and will be held at the
Mita Kaigisho, Tokyo, Japan.
The Forum is targeted at experts from ITU Member States and Sector Members involved in wireless broadband networks.
The objective of this Forum is to provide an opportunity for government officials and experts to exchange views and hold discussions on wireless broadband
networks.
The Forum will be conducted in English. There is no registration fee. However, all expenses concerning travel, accommodation,
meals, and insurance of participants should be borne by your organization. To register for the above-mentioned Forum, participants are kindly requested to
complete the attached Registration Form and send it to the ITU latest by 9 March 2010. Please note that the number of participants is limited to 60.
Delegates are encouraged to participate actively in the Forum by sharing experiences and best practices. In this respect, they
are invited to present their perspectives on policy, technology and business aspects of wireless broadband networks. Presentations and contributions for the
event will be highly appreciated and should be sent electronically to
wireless_broadband_networks@ml.soumu.go.jp with copy to
ashish.narayan@itu.int. Hotel
reservations should be made directly with the chosen hotel.
Participants who need an invitation letter and/or visa supporting documents for entering Japan should fill “Visa Application
Form” in block letters (English), and send it to the contact point no later than 2 March 2010 together with a “Copy of passport (photograph page)”.
