The Association for Progressive Communications (APC) is an international networked organisation with 74 organisational members rooted in the Global South and active in implementing the WSIS vision since 2003. It works to enable the unconnected to connect themselves through building last-mile policy, regulation, tech and financing solutions. APC works to ensure that the internet and digital technologies enable social, gender and environmental justice for all people. At the booth you will find information on the groundbreaking work carried out by APC and its members and partners around the world, including the Global Digital Justice Forum, an advocacy network that envisions a democratic digital society, promoting human-rights based policies, and amplifying the pivotal role of civil society voices from the margins.
