The WSIS Prizes 2026 Winners Ceremony is one of the flagship moments of the WSIS Forum 2026, bringing together the global digital development community to celebrate excellence, innovation, and impact.

Following a historic edition of the WSIS Prizes Contest that attracted a record 1,595 submissions from 122 countries, and after more than 2.2 million votes cast by participants around the world, the journey culminates with the announcement of the 18 WSIS Prizes 2026 Winners—one winning project in each of the 18 WSIS Action Line Categories.

Taking place on the Main Stage (Room C, -1 level) of WSIS Forum 2026 at Palexpo in Geneva, the ceremony will feature a special awards presentation by ITU Secretary-General Ms. Doreen Bogdan-Martin, who will honor the projects that best demonstrate how digital technologies can drive sustainable development and create meaningful impact for people and communities worldwide.

The WSIS Prizes Winners represent the very best of global digital innovation—initiatives that are transforming lives, accelerating progress of the WSIS Action Lines, and advancing the vision of an inclusive information society for all.

Join participants from around the world, both onsite and online, for this unforgettable celebration as the global WSIS community comes together to discover who will become the WSIS Prizes 2026 Winners. Be part of the excitement, witness the recognition of outstanding achievements, and celebrate the projects that are shaping our digital future.

We invite all WSIS Forum participants to attend this prestigious ceremony and experience the culmination of the world's largest and most recognized contest for digital development projects and initiatives.
