Converging Digital Intelligence for an Accessible Future: Building Sustainable Ecosystems for Information Inclusion
Internet Society of China (ISC)
Session 190
This session aims to explore how emerging digital technologies—such as artificial intelligence, 5G/6G, and
IoT—can be harnessed to create more inclusive and sustainable digital ecosystems. With a focus on bridging accessibility
gaps for marginalized groups, including persons with disabilities, the elderly, and rural populations, the discussion will
emphasize the role of multi-stakeholder collaboration in fostering innovation, policy alignment, and scalable solutions.
Key discussion points will include:
AI-driven accessibility tools – Leveraging intelligent technologies to enhance digital access and usability.
Sustainable infrastructure models – Ensuring affordable, green, and resilient connectivity for underserved communities.
Policy and industry synergy – Aligning regulatory frameworks with private-sector innovation to advance inclusive
digitization.
Capacity building and digital literacy – Empowering individuals with the skills to thrive in a rapidly evolving digital
economy.
The session will feature insights from policymakers, technology providers, civil society representatives, and academia,
culminating in actionable recommendations to advance the WSIS action lines and support the implementation of the Global
Digital Compact.
By fostering dialogue and showcasing practical solutions, this session aims to inspire actionable commitments toward a
more inclusive digital future—where information is not a privilege, but a universal right. The Internet Society of China
