Fundación Cibervoluntarios

Fundación Cibervoluntarios is a Spanish NGO and international pioneer in technological volunteering. We focus on promoting an inclusive digital transition and eliminating the digital divide. Since 2001, we have worked to ensure that everyone can access, understand, and use technology to improve their autonomy and guarantee equal opportunities. Thanks to the support of more than 4500 cyber-volunteers and 5000 collaborating organizations, we carry out an average of 500 free training and awareness-raising activities every week, 80% of which are face-to-face.

For over 20 years, Fundación Cibervoluntarios has developed and tested technology, methodology, tools, training content, organizational structure, and international partnerships, all of which are made available to organizations in our network.

In 2024, Fundación Cibervoluntarios launched the Cibervoluntarios Network, an international, collaborative network of independent local entities united by the common goal of bridging the digital divide and promoting citizen participation in the digital ecosystem. The Network is formed through partnerships with organizations that have firsthand knowledge of digitally vulnerable groups' circumstances and their territories' degree of digital advancement. Through technological volunteering, the Network encourages vulnerable groups to acquire digital skills adapted to their needs, thus improving their access to rights, education, health, employment, and participation in society. All of this is done under a model of decentralized governance guided by values such as collaboration, exchange, and active contribution. Join us!
