AI Use Cases to Increase Healthy Life Longevity for Children & Elderlies
HiNounou - WSIS Healthy Ageing Innovation Prize 2022 / Technology Pioneers of the World Economic Forum
Session 192
This session will explore how AI can enhance well-being for two vulnerable groups—children and the elderly
HiNounou is honored to host a discussion under the theme: "AI Use Cases to Increase Healthy Life Longevity for Children & Elderlies." This session brings together an exceptional panel of public and private sector leaders who are pioneering the use of artificial intelligence to transform health and care systems for some of the world’s most vulnerable populations.
The discussion will explore how AI can enhance both lifespan and healthspan for children and the elderly. For children, the focus will be on advanced orthodontic care, where AI algorithms tailor treatment plans to optimize dental health and developmental outcomes. For the elderly, the round table will spotlight AI applications in preventive care, chronic disease management, mental wellness monitoring, and assistive living technologies that promote autonomy and reduce social isolation.
A key focus of the session is inclusivity: the belief that AI-driven healthcare innovation must extend beyond high-income countries. In fact, many Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs)—such as Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and others—are emerging as agile and fertile grounds for digital health transformation. With fewer regulatory barriers, these countries often deploy AI solutions more rapidly and at scale, offering valuable models for global health innovation.
Distinguished public representatives will include the Ambassadors of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan—two fast-moving nations in Central Asia—as well as a National Deputy from the French Parliament. Their participation underscores the importance of international cooperation and policy leadership in the responsible and equitable deployment of AI in healthcare.
On the private side, visionary founders and C-level executives from Fortune 100 corporations and disruptive startups will present real-world use cases that illustrate how AI is already delivering measurable improvements through innovation in healthtech and digital medicine.
Key topics will include ethically and culturally adapted AI implementation, cross-sector partnerships, and strategies for achieving digital health equity on a global scale. Panelists will also share insights into how localized AI solutions can bridge infrastructure gaps and elevate care quality in underserved communities.
This round table is part of HiNounou’s broader mission to build a compassionate, connected global health ecosystem—one that blends technological excellence and human empathy to support longevity and dignity across the lifespan.
HiNounou’s leadership in this space has been recognized globally. The company was named winner of the WSIS Special Prize for Healthy Aging Innovation 2022, selected from among 115 solutions across 40 countries.
