Speech recognition, Translation & Impacting society with Inclusive Presentations

  • Interprefy -  As provider of interpreting solutions, Interprefy operates a cloud-based platform for remote simultaneous interpreting for conferences and similar events. They only use standard IT equipment such as laptops and smartphones. Interpreters work remotely, and conference delegates can use their smartphones as receivers.   
  • Vume - VUME aims to globally impact the way knowledge is shared through presentations, and our vision is to make this knowledge inclusive and accessible for all.
  • Recapp - Our vision is that word-by-word protocols will not be needed anymore in future. With speech recognition, videos can be indexed and relevant content is found in seconds

Interpreters work remotely, and conference delegates can use their smartphones as receivers. Since the interpreters need not travel and no heavy equipment must be installed on-site, CO2 footprint and cost savings compared to conventional interpreting technology are substantial. This advance technology also allows for increased diversity from both local and international content due to the ease of translation and at the highest quality, further bridging the gap and bringing people together.

With the advancement in this technology it also helps provide quality education in the aspect whereby the language barrier is removed and it increases the diversity and helps connect students from all over the world come together and also engage with one another. It also further helps globalization because it helps firms, states and other entities come together and work and cement partnerships for the future.
