China is accelerating the informationization process from all aspects of life. For example, China is aiming at eliminating poverty and bridging the education gap in recent years through digital tools; China also aims to strengthen the capacity of communciation infrustructure and to provide better information accessibility and etc. As a result, China tends to transform the society into a knowledg and informational society.

For  realizing all these pruposes,  different stakeholders in China carried out various initiatives within and across the country. Following are some of these examples. China Mobile  facilitates the infromationization process from many aspects through its unique status in communication industry in China. It conducted measures both from the national scale and industry scale. For example, some medical platforms and APPs were deployed; some security schemes have also be developed to protect users from telecommunications fraud; digital steps protecting environment have also been deployed; national-scaled measures aiming at eliminating poverty have also been conducted in the passed years.

China Comservice International Corporation helps India to build FTTx Network, and applied this successful experience to the same construction in China.

Jiangsu Posts and Telecommunications Planning and Designing Institute Company Limited has taken the same like initiatives in commercial and envirnmental perspectives. For example, they carried out smart protection to pandas in order to protect the biodiversity. They also cooperated with  other companies to construct firewall for express delivery, which has a quite great influence in China these days.

From the global views, Huawei is quite a contributor to the communication industry. They not only researched and developed fully-chain products, but also facilitated some standardized work. They may share the point of how to better apply 5G in the digital China process.

Information accessibility attractes more attention after the permeation of ICT.  The Information Accessibility Research Association aims to helping moderate the digital gap and tries to make sure everyone can connect to the information.

All these great initiatives are promoting the sound development of informationization in China, which is an important base for the building of a Knowledge Society.
