Title Assistance for the Establishment of National Spectrum Management basic framework systems
Description This project aims to assist developing countries which do not yet have a basic framework for spectrum management and to support them in the creation of a National Spectrum Management System. The assistance covers the necessary activities starting from the very beginning of the process related to spectrum management, such as the legal foundation for spectrum regulation and its institutional establishment. The assistance will begin with the analysis of the existing situation of the spectrum management scheme in the country and continue with the support to establish a basic national spectrum management system.

Achievements

The expected result of the project is to assist beneficiary countries in analyzing their existing spectrum management schemes and establishing a fundamental legal, administrative, and institutional structure for a National Spectrum Management System. Additionally, it focuses on building human capacity in these countries regarding the National Spectrum Management System.


Key performance indicators include the number of beneficiary countries assisted in establishing a National Spectrum Management System and the number of participants attending national or regional seminars in these countries.


The target is to assist at least three countries and have a total of at least 60 participants attending the seminars.


This initiative is crucial for enhancing the spectrum management capabilities of the beneficiary countries, ensuring they have the necessary legal, administrative, and institutional frameworks in place. By building human capacity, the project aims to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills required to effectively manage the spectrum in their respective countries.


Overall, the project is expected to significantly impact the beneficiary countries by improving their spectrum management systems and building the necessary human capacity to sustain these improvements in the long term.
