Participating in ITU Webinar as a Remote Delegate

Participating remotely you have the ability to see a video feed of the conference, to hear discussions, see documents and presentations and interact with the remote meeting host. You can also put questions to panelists.

Do I need to register to participate as a remote delegate?
Following registration, as above, you will be given login details to access the Adobe Connect meeting room established for this event.

Following registration, as above, you will be given login details to access the Adobe Connect meeting room established for this event.

Q: Can I test my browser and connection to see if my PC is properly configured?
A: Yes. You can run the Adobe Connect test

Note: You do not need to install the Connect add-in to join the meeting as a participant.

Q: What will I see in the Adobe Connect Room?
A: You will have access to the following elements:

  • a video pod showing a video feed of the conference room and panelists;
  • the English audio feed which you will hear through your computer speakers;
  • a window showing all documents and presentations projected in the conference room.
  • a chat pod which allows you to communicate with the meeting host as well as other participants.

Q: How do I listen to the audio channel?
A: Once you are in the Adobe Connect Room, you should hear the audio through your computer speakers. Please make sure that your speakers are turned on and the computer volume is adjusted.

Q: How do I make an intervention?
A: Use the raise hand function to indicate that you would like to make an intervention.

  • Type your question in the chat pod, and send it to the Remote Meeting Host.

Q: Can I access a meeting room in advance, to make sure everything is working?
A: Yes. We encourage you to login to the Adobe Connect meeting room, as soon as you receive the link.

Q: Will the sessions be recorded?
A: Yes. All sessions will be recorded and available at the end of each day.
