This draft Recommendation describes requirements for remote surgical system, including the overall network architecture, technical requirements for each component. The overall network architecture will consider the wireless and wired transmission. The components include the control signal processing module, image transmission processing module, conference audio/video transmission processing module and network management module. The technical requirements will consider the functional, performance and security requirements.
