Summary:
|
In-vehicle spoken dialogue systems, powered by natural language processing and multimodal interaction, enhance safety but lack advanced capabilities needed for evolving “smart mobility spaces.” Current limitations include poor contextual understanding (e.g., ambiguous commands), inability to autonomous planning and decompose complex tasks (e.g., intent-driven automated parking), and no personalized memory (e.g., navigation preferences). Solutions require autonomous agents integrating large language models, multimodal perception, and dynamic task generation to shift from command-based control to adaptive, human-like interaction. Establishing the unified standard for agent-augmented spoken dialogue system is critical to accelerate intelligent vehicle development. This evolution seeks to elevate in-vehicle speech interaction systems into context-aware, personalized assistants capable of human-like conversational fluency and adaptive control decisions.
