Summary:
|
Fixed, mobile and satellite convergence (FMSC) is the capability that provides services and applications to end users regardless of the fixed, mobile or satellite access technologies. The multi-path transmission control (MPTC) is a mechanism that uses one or more terrestrial or satellite network transmission paths to carry out data exchange between user equipment (UE) and data network, which is realized by path discovery, path selection and path management. This Recommendation specifies the scenarios, requirements, functional architecture, procedures and security considerations of MPTC in FMSC network for IMT-2020 networks and beyond.
