Summary:
|
Emergency telecommunications service (ETS) is a national service providing priority telecommunications to the ETS authorized users in times of disaster and emergencies. Fixed, mobile and satellite convergence are the capabilities that provide services and applications to end users regardless of the fixed, mobile or satellite access technologies. Take advantage of multi-access, the FMSC network is capable of providing emergency services to international users. With the standardization progress on ETS and fixed, mobile and satellite convergence, it is high time to research on the emergency service provision for fixed, mobile and satellite convergence in IMT-2020 networks and beyond, which helps in the development of standardized emergency service provision.
This Recommendation specifies the requirements, enabling technologies, network aspects and security considerations of emergency service provision for fixed, mobile and satellite convergence in IMT-2020 networks and beyond.
