Summary:
|
With the development of AI, the level of intelligence in home space has rapidly improved, and knowledge bases of home space are very important as they serve as the knowledge foundation for intelligent applications. In the home space, there are three kinds of key elements—users, robots and environment, which are in different research fields. In order to integrate elements information better and enhance spatial intelligence, we need to build the ontology knowledge base for each. The knowledge bases can be used independently or together.
The ontology knowledge base of home environment for robot interaction standardizes the expression of home environment information and can be updated in real-time based on the changing status. It also provides environment information to home service robots, making the robots understand and adapt to the home environment quickly, enable robots to establish interaction with environment, and provide better services for users.
This recommendation proposes the requirements for construction of ontology knowledge base of home environment for robot interaction in intelligent space. This recommendation is associated with the ITU ongoing work item F.DCOR-Reqs, which is focus on the ontology knowledge base for home service robots.,,
This recommendation can be applied to many fields such as smart home, smart elderly care, and smart community etc.
