Summary:
|
In the current NGN network there is no known protocol available which can support priority calls coming from GSM priority subscriber for reserving resources in its own network. If a priority call with eMLPP flag is required to transit through a NGN network, then NGN needs to support the appropriate priority mapping protocol (eMLPP like parameter) to reserve/pre-empt the resources. This supplement to the Q-series of Recommendations identifies and discusses signalling requirement for interconnection between NGN and GSM/UMTS based networks supporting priority calls
