Name: IETF RFC 9000 (2021)
Title: QUIC: A UDP-Based Multiplexed and Secure Transport
2. Status of approval:
Standards track document - Proposed Standard approved May 2021.
3. Justification for the specific reference:
The QUIC protocol is necessary to facilitate the QUIC-based live streaming system, which is described in the Recommendation. Some features of QUIC are used in implementing the clauses in this Recommendation.

9.7     The Internet Engineering Steering Group (IESG) is responsible for ongoing maintenance of the RFCs when the need arises. Comments on RFCs and corresponding changes are accommodated through the existing standardization process.
