ITU-T Y.4232建议书提出了物联网（IoT）基础设施的通用和具体要求和能力。路边交通感知系统（RTPS）是由物联网基础设施组成的系统，包括传感装置、云设施、智慧交通信号灯和智慧交通标志。通过使用IoT技术，路边交通感知系统可利用其组件的能力提高交通的安全性和效率。
为了提高交通安全和效率，RTPS中的IoT基础设施需要使用IoT技术开展协作。附录中还给出了RTPS的用例。 |
