La Recommandation UIT-T Y.3261 fournit un cadre d'évaluation du niveau de confiance pour les réseaux de confiance. Elle propose une description du niveau de confiance et des critères d'évaluation de ce niveau, ainsi qu'un modèle d'évaluation y afférent. Compte tenu de ces concepts, la présente Recommandation définit les exigences fonctionnelles et de haut niveau relatives à l'évaluation du niveau de confiance et propose également un cadre ainsi que des procédures pour cette évaluation.
