ITU-T Recommendations

Supplement 72 to ITU-T G-series Recommendations provides supplemental information to Recommendation ITU-T G.876, Management requirements and information model for the optical media network and Recommendation ITU-T G.7711/Y.1702, Generic protocol-neutral information model for transport resources. It provides various examples of the use of the core information model, defined in Recommendation ITU-T G.7711/Y.1702 to model optical media structures.
The revision (2025) to Supplement 72 updates the descriptions of point-to-point media channels, adds tree-topology and mesh-topology implemented with couplers cases for multi-pointed media channels.
