Requirements and capability framework for a public smart charging service for electric vehicles |
 |
Through modern information and communication technologies (ICTs), a public smart charging service is provided in the smart city. Compared with a traditional charging service, a public smart charging service has the characteristics of a highly networked and digitized system, flexible and convenient use, and intelligent management of electric power, supporting improved efficiency, reliability, safety and security for smart and sustainable city's infrastructure. The public smart charging service will be implemented on smart city infrastructure and will be indispensable for smart cities in the future.
Recommendation ITU-T Y.4230 specifies the requirements and capability framework for a public smart charging service for electric vehicles (EVs), to optimize the EV charging service process and improve the EV charging service experience of EV users.
