تصف التوصية ITU T H.762 الوظيفيات عالية المستوى لبيئة الوسائط المتعددة التفاعلية السريعة (LIME) من أجل تلفزيون بروتوكول الإنترنت (IPTV). وتدعم بيئة الوسائط LIME الوظيفيات في أجهزة مطاريف التلفزيون IPTV وذلك لتوفير التفاعلية ومجموعة شتى من المحتويات، من قبيل الصوت والفيديو والرسوم والنصوص. وتشمل الخدمات المتوقعة بيانات إضافية ومنها النصوص بغية إثراء البرامج التلفزيونية وصفحات بوابات تعمل في اتجاهين.
وتصف هذه التوصية الجانبية التي تسمى "LIME HTML" في التوصية XHTML 1.0 من وضع اتحاد الشبكة العالمية (W3C)، والجانبية التي تسمى "LIME CSS" ذات الصفحات السلسالية 1 (CSS1)، وجزء من الصفحات CSS2، وجانبية نموذج غرض الوثائق (DOM) التي تسمى "LIME DOM"، ولغة كتابية تسمى "LIME Script" وهي مجموعة فرعية من ECMAScript ولكن لها تمديدات وظيفية مطلوبة من أجل خدمات تلفزيون بروتوكول الإنترنت (IPTV). وهي تصف استخدام البروتوكولات القائمة على بروتوكول الإنترنت لنقل خدمات البيئة LIME والخدمات المتصلة بالتلفزيون IPTV.
