Generation Connect – Americas Youth Envoys (GC-AMS)
The group composed of the Generation Connect – Americas Youth Envoys (GC-AMS) offers an opportunity for young leaders from this region to provide their views on the challenges and opportunities related to digital development and sharing the actions they would like to see happening in regards to the regional priorities of the Americas region.
The young members of the GC-AMS have developed the Generation Connect – Americas Youth Group: “Call to Action for ICT Development in the Americas region Towards 2025” document, providing their views on the challenges and opportunities related to digital development and sharing the actions they would like to see happening in regards to the regional priorities of the Americas region. As well as some considerations on Emergency Telecommunications, this document focuses on five main thematic priorities:
- Capacity Development
- Digital Inclusion
- Digital Innovation Ecosystems
- Digital Services and Applications
- Network and Digital Infrastructure
