Meet the third cohort of Generation Connect Young Leadership Programme (GCYLP) Fellows and learn about the digital development projects they are implementing in their diverse communities across the world. The GCYLP, implemented by ITU in partnership with Huawei, supports young digital leaders in transforming innovative ideas into impactful solutions for their communities. Selected by a global jury from a pool of 6,700 applicants from 150 countries, the third cohort of the Generation Connect Young Leadership Programme (GCYLP) fellows are young changemakers from 24 countries across all ITU regions, committed to leveraging innovative digital solutions toward an inclusive, more prosperous digital future for all. Over the next year, with the support of ITU and Huawei, they will receive support and resources to implement digital development projects in their communities.
From 14 to 18 September 2026, the third cohort of GCYLP Fellows – 30 participants from across ITU regions – will be welcomed to Geneva for a transformative training week focused on innovation, project management, and leadership development. Fellows will receive expert guidance to advance their digital development projects and ideas to the next level.
