The BDT Director signed an agreement with Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd Latin America and the Caribbean to welcome a voluntary contribution of 150,000 USD from Huawei to the ITU in support of the implementation of Regional Initiatives for the Americas Region. BDT Director recognized the contribution as the operationalisation of Huawei’s Partner2Connect pledge to address ICT priorities through partnerships & resource mobilization.
