International ICT Day for Girls was celebrated at Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2 (2nd Shift) Shahjahanpur on 23rd April 2015. The program was organized in coordination with Oracle Academy as per instructions received from its Bangalore based Program Manager, APAC Ms. Kamal Peter. The main focus of the program was the Online Mega Event using CISCO Webex. The mega event, in its first session, involved motivational talks by Mr. Sistela B Krishna, Senior Director, Oracle Academy, Ms. Laxmi and Ms. Sujata Madhav in addition to the impressive words from Ms. Kamal Peter.
The second session focused programming on Oracle Alice. This session was conducted online by Ms. Kamal Peter and her teammates.
The whole program aimed at improving the ICT skills of girl students as well as making them aware about the global requirement of ICT professionals.
The Venue coordinator of the event was Mr. Vipin Kumar Maurya who attended the event along with 20 girl students.
