The BDT Director launched the Digital Regulation Network (DRN) at GSR-23 during the Regional Regulatory Associations Meeting. The Network will benefit Regional Regulatory Associations through twinning capacity building programmes and information sharing on good practices. It aims to accelerate sustainable digital transformation by strengthening cooperation at the global and regional level to identify common approaches to collaborative digital policy, regulation and governance across economic sectors and across borders. 

The work of the D​RN will focus on three main building blocks: thought leadership, capacity development, and regulatory experimentation and innovation.
