Recommendation ITU-T F.748.65 aims to clarify specific characteristics from the multimedia data and help people solve complex problems. This Recommendation provides an overview of the artificial intelligence (AI)-based cognitive inference system (CIS) and specifies requirements and framework for AI-based cognitive inference system for multimedia applications.
AI-based cognitive inference system (AI-CIS) for multimedia applications is a system which is used to do inference tasks with multimedia data to complete multimedia applications. The cognitive inference workflow is divided into four steps: problem acquisition, problem deconstruction, answer inference and answer validation.
