ITU-T H.264.1建议书 | 国际标准ISO/IEC 14496-4规定了测试方法,以验证比特流和解码器是否满足ITU-T H.264建议书 | ISO/IEC 14496-10规定的标称要求:
• 一个编码器,如果其产生的比特流是兼容比特流,则可以申明其兼容于ITU-T H.264建议书| ISO/ 14496-10。
• 一个解码器,如果能够按照ITU-T H.264建议书 | ISO/IEC 14496-10规定的约束条件将所有比特流行适当地解码,则可以申明其兼容于ITU-T H.264规定的条件和级别。
本建议书规定的测试方法提供了测试编码器和解码器满足这些要求的(非详尽)测试方法。
ITU-T/ISO/IEC联合视频小组(JVT)制定的ISO/IEC同文标准已提交ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 29/WG 11 (MPEG),文件分别为ISO/IEC 14496-4:2002/修正案6 (2005 E)、ISO/IEC 14496-4:2004/修正案9、ISO/IEC 14496-4:2004/修正案30、ISO/IEC 14496-4:2004/修正案31以及ISO/IEC 14496-4:2004/修正案38。
ITU-T H.264.1第一次获批版本(03/2005)包括比特流规范,以测试解码器是否兼容ITU-T H.264建议书 | ISO/IEC 14496-10中规定的基线、扩展、主要、高、高10以及高4:2:2配置规范。
H.264.1勘误1(09/2005)整合入第一次发布的ITU-T H.264.1,使之与技术上做适当修改的ISO/IEC的同样文本更为一致,去掉了一些错误之处,并增加了对一些必要特性的测试,而这些测试在以前版本中是没有的。
第二版ITU-T H.264.1建议书(06/2008)提供了对ITU-T H.264.1之前版本的更正,并增加了解码器测试额外比特流,以测试其是否遵循ITU-T H.264建议书 | ISO/IEC 14496-10规定的高4:4:4预测、高10 内部、高4:2:2内部、高4:4:4内部以及CAVLC 4:4:4内部配置。
第三版ITU-T H.264.1建议书(04/2010)增加了用于测试解码器的额外比特流,测试其是否遵循ITU-T H.264建议书 | ISO/IEC 14496-10规定的约束基线,可扩展基线,可扩展高,可扩展高内部,多视野高,以及立体高配置。在这些增加的比特流中,有一些也规定用于测试解码器是否符合以前存在的配置。
第四版ITU-T H.264.1建议书(01/2012)更正了在比特流和相关文本规范中的小错误。
