La présente Recommandation définit une fonctionnalité permettant aux dispositifs H.323 de diffuser (en mode multidiffusion) un message à destination d'un ou de plusieurs terminaux H.323 distants, en offrant, par exemple, une fonction "intercom" pour téléphones d'entreprise, un service de "radiomessagerie" par l'intermédiaire d'une entreprise, ou un système de notification pour terminaux disséminés en différents points géographiques. Cette méthode utilisant les procédures standard de multidiffusion sur Internet, la fonctionnalité peut être utilisée à grande échelle pour atteindre un nombre quelconque d'extrémités H.323 dans une région géographique, voire dans le monde entier. |
